Losing Region Effects in WAVEBURNER

When I apply "Effects" to a particular region, it saves the effects most of the time (when I save the project). But sometimes it doesnt.

I also notice that when I apply an effect to the entire mix - it saves that same effect in other Waveburner projects (in the mix effects - and I cant delete it. I can unclick or deactivate it - but I cant delete it? ( I have multiple Waveburner projects on this computer.)

Im wondering if my effects are all related - in my multiple Waveburner projects?

But the big problem is that I can occasionally lose all my region effects all at once - in a particular project?

What is going on? Why cant I keep my region effects in a particular WB project?
